Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes

Experience the best that the Australian tropics has to offer during your stay at the spaceport. From unforgettable beaches with exquisite sunsets, to rolling forested hills cut by red dirt roads.

A town you can't help but love

Nhulunbuy, located on the stunning Gove Peninsula in the Northern Territory, offers a unique and rewarding lifestyle in a vibrant and picturesque community.

Whether it's fishing in turquoise waters, exploring rugged landscapes, or learning about the local Indigenous culture, Nhulunbuy offers an unparalleled experience of Australia.

With plenty of places to eat and drink, you won't go without.

In partnership with the locals, every step of the way

The Gumatj Corporation, the traditional owners of the land on which the ASC is located, were integral in bringing the spaceport to the region for the benefit of the local Yolngu people through jobs, education and training. Their deep knowledge of country, and advice and support for safe recovery operations, has been critical to ensure we leverage our location but also tread lightly on the land.

Creating jobs for the community

At every stage of the spaceport's construction and operation, we've aimed to provide jobs, contracts and to utilise local businesses and tradespeople - boosting the local economy and growing a space ecosystem.
